Welcome 2007 bye bye 2006

 

I suppose I should look back at the past year and evaluate. What are the ups and downs, pros and cons, best experience vs. worst experience, etc. I decided not to do that. I will however, start making a list of things I will miss about Texas alongside with a list of things I won’t miss!! I promise you that list will be posted shortly.

 

Well, no New Year without the Queen’s speech. So after an hour at the gym trying to master the art of Pilates (it is not that easy and I suck at it), I went online and found the speech on DR’s webpage. I tried to watch the video but the connection was too slow unfortunately.  After reading the whole speech I was ready to ring in the new year.

 

For some reason I couldn’t get it through to my brain that it is not allowed to fire fireworks in the city and Kristin laughed at me every time I asked about the stupid fireworks. I hope all of you who actually saw some fireworks enjoyed it..

 

Well, a group of us went to Restaurant Ibiza for a New Years dinner before celebrating the first minutes of 2007. The food was absolutely delicious and the people were full of energy and all up for fun and games. I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend the last hours of New Years.

 

My thoughts are beginning to wander towards all of you back in Denmark. I will be leaving Houston on the 9th of January and will be in Denmark on the 10th. I am looking forward to seeing you all and I can’t wait to show you all the pictures. Those of you who know me well, will know that there’s a lot of pictures!!
